Ladies and Gentlemen, ((slow drum rolls)), please welcome to the stage, for the first time in a long time, the new and improved, ((pause for dramatic emphasis)), MRS. Judy Felicetta! ((a crescendo of symbols clash as thunderous applause erupts while people jump out of their seats in jubilation)). Yes, that’s right, I’m back. FINALLY. After months of my OCD kicked into high gear, tearing my hair out with wedding plans, I am returned and renewed, now a kept woman, with a second finger prison... and apparently slightly balder… And it is SO good to back! On a side note, I have to share, people keep asking me “Soooo??? How’s married life??” in a sing-song voice. Everyone does it. I’m not quite sure why. And my answer is always the same, “the exact same as it was before we said I do”. Nothing changes, except for the paperwork. Not that I was expecting it, and believe me I am super happy, but no one ever prepares you for the vast silence that proceeds the wedding. Ah well, life goes on!

There has been an exorbitant amount of hubbub in our County as of late, thanks to the world officially reopening ((thanks, world!)). Tourism will be at an all-time high this year! It’s a good time to be in AC that’s for sure. There are 2 highlights from this last holiday weekend that you should most definitely take note of, The Coral Lounge in Resorts, and the grand reopening of Bally’s. Let’s dive in, shall we? ((pulling swimmies up arms and attaching snorkeling device)).

The Coral Lounge is a pop-up bar at Bar One that just celebrated its grand opening this weekend. Located in Resorts Atlantic City, this under-the-sea-themed bar has a whimsical and magical feel that you must check out at least once this summer, open May 28th through September 5th, offering live music every weekend, with some truly delicious drink specials, like their Diving Horse Orange Crush, and their Frozen Dirty Monkey. And it’s kind of hard to not feel swept away with it all. Before you know it, you’ll be getting the unmistakable urge to play the steel drums ((or sing Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid)).

Next up, with the official ribbon cutting last Thursday, the grand opening of the all-new Bally’s features 750 newly renovated rooms including suites and penthouses; new slots; a new hotel lobby; and a couple highlights I must address. First, the Carousel Bar, a 360-degree rotating bar immersive experience features an elevated 24-seat rotating bar reminiscent of a carousel and is the first venue of its kind in New Jersey. Guests can enjoy modern cocktails with Atlantic City flavors such as Saltwater Taffy, Cotton Candy, funnel cake, and more. It’s open 24/7 and has got to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time ((save for the murder mystery scavenger hunt I went on for my bachelorette weekend… trust me it was epic and riveting)). In addition, The Yard is a totally different, yet equally unique must-experience, offering live entertainment, a gastro-pub style menu, a curated tap list featuring local and national brewers, and craft cocktails. Adding to this experience are 90’s themed arcade games, lounge-style seating, and an indoor and outdoor stage for live entertainment. And lastly, Bally's Legends VIP Beach is located just off the Bally’s Beach Bar. This designated beach is for our Bally Rewards Legend members and offers private lounge seating, and a beachside butler service including towel service, specialty passed amenities, cool towels, beach massages, security, and private F&B offerings and service. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning Memorial Day Weekend. There is so much more exciting new things at the all new Bally’s, but I don’t have the room to gush about it all. Go to https://www.ballys.com/atlantic-city and check out all the new happenings!

And I'm sure, you were wondering if I was going to do it... ((shameless work plug)) The Deauville Inn welcomed the most epic turn out this last Memorial Day Weekend, and can't wait to host a slew of guests this summer! We are also gearing up for the grand opening of our 2nd location, Yesterday's Creekside Tavern and Right Turn Liquors inn Marmora! Details to come... Well, that’s all I’ve got for now. I am genuinely excited and happy to be back, pounding the pavement and divulging all that I can. I hope you all had a great MDW! Until next week, Folks! #stayjerseystrong
