We had the pleasure of chatting with Nick Valinote, the Publisher of NJ Lifestyle Magazine, to get a better understanding of his work and he was so generous as to share his insights on the topic!

Judy Felicetta: Where do you work and what is your title?

Nick Valinote: I am the President of Nick and Partners and Publisher of New Jersey Lifestyle Magazine

JF: Would you be able to tell us a little about the magazine and what you do there?

NV: Of course. NJ Lifestyle Magazine is a premier bi-monthly, independent publication highlighting the best of South Jersey, including high-end dining, real estate, arts, and local culture. Targeting affluent residents, it features high-quality journalism and photography on luxury living, featuring award-winning writers and providing a curated look at lifestyle trends and social scenes. I focus on creating engaging, memorable, and shareable experiences that build a community around the publication's brand. The publication is delivered to over 5,000 homes and businesses in South Jersey!

JF: What is your favorite part of your job?

NV: Working with people and helping them.

JF: What inspires you to be in the hospitality industry?

NV: To put it simply. People.

JF: Tell us Nick, why did you join the GACCA?

NV: Joining the GACCA was a great opportunity to network and get my brand’s name out there.

JF: Some rapid fire questions. What is your favorite Happy Hour spot in the area and why?

NV: Shay’s Bar & Restaurant at Linwood Country Club. Great local vibe.

JF: Best recommendation for a family-style dinner?

NV: Smithville Inn, The Roost in EHT, Cousins in Ocean City, Dock's Oyster House, The Nizams and the Byrdcage, all great options.

JF: Best go-to spot for Italian cuisine?

NV: The Greenhouse, Chef Volas, and Cordivaris.

JF: What was your favorite GACCA event you ever attended?

NV: Superfrico, without a doubt.

JF: Where is the best bang for your buck in Atlantic County?

NV: Mexico Restaurant AC

JF: Best recommendation for a luxurious meal?

NV: Capriccio at Resorts
